National Western Life distributes its products primarily through Independent Marketing Organizations (IMOs) or National Marketing Organizations (NMOs). If you're currently an independent agent, check to see if your recruiter is already appointed with National Western Life. If you're interested in representing National Western products, but don't have a recruiter yet, contact the Marketing Department for more information.

Domestic Marketing Operations

National Western markets and distributes its products domestically primarily through independent insurance agents and brokers or IMOs. The Company depends on IMOs to support product marketing and assist with agent recruitment, contracting, and management.

The Company has developed its domestic marketing operations to reach senior consumers, specific employee groups in private industry, as well as individual consumers. National Western's domestic life insurance product line includes term, whole life, universal life and indexed-universal life policies.

The Company's annuity products include single and flexible premium deferred annuities, single premium immediate annuities, traditional fixed annuities, and equity-indexed annuities. These products can be tax qualified or nonqualified.

International Marketing Operations

In addition to domestic operations, National Western also accepts applications for life and annuity products from non-US residents. Applications from foreign residents are submitted to National Western through independent broker-agents, many of whom have been submitting applications to National Western for over 20 years.
